Business Continuity

Just as important as the websites and web solutions we build, Lightstone appreciates the trust you put in us as a supplier, and we understand how critical your deadlines are.

This is why Lightstone has invested in company-wide Business Continuity ("BC") services, so that even if our office is destroyed we have the means to recover quickly.

Any good interactive agency will do daily backups of data, and most will practice secure, off-site storage of the data, in addition to on-site storage. But we've gone much further - in the event of a disaster, the Lightstone team can be up and running again within a few hours, at a BC facility that has so much redundancy built-in, it can operate for two weeks even with the outside electricity supply cut off. 

At the Business Continuity facility the project team will use the same desktops, email, phone numbers, applications, tools and development environment as before, with access to an array of dedicated backup development servers we host there.  For clients with mission-critical projects, we can even offer real-time off-site backup of critical data to the BC facility, to avoid losing a day's work in the event of disaster. 

Whilst our good management practices are designed to minimise the risk of a disaster occurring in the first place, we know it's prudent to cover all bases, to ensure service-levels you can depend on.
