Technical overview (online) 

SameSite™ is created in Java (JDE 1.5) and will run in any Apache Tomcat container, with in- or out-of-process data persistence.  Sites are run completely compiled as byte code to deliver optimum performance by removing the need for just-in-time processing.  All technologies required for server deployment are open-source.

Technical overview (offline)

SameSite™ can be distributed offline via CD-ROM or preinstalled on solid state memory (for example a USB pen drive) for use in any Windows PC*.  In this execution SameSite is packaged with an imbedded, customisable browser and runs directly from the chosen media without need for plug-ins or other supporting software**.  Installation (and uninstallation) is totally non-intrusive and is completely self-contained and automated via a wizard.
