Development & Integration
Once the information architecture and creative design phases have been completed the website development and integration work starts.
Development and integration work is briefed in by your assigned Lightstone Project Manager. For every customer project we undertake, a Technical Project Manager (TPM) is assigned. The TPM is chosen according to the project, ensuring that we assign the best person for the job, both in terms of industry and technical knowledge.
Lightstone is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, and as such, our technology team are Microsoft trained and certified. To learn more about the benefits of working with Microsoft Certified Partners, please refer to their website.
As well as being able to deliver entirely bespoke developments, Lightstone has a great deal of experience in integrating work with legacy systems and/or 3rd party offerings.
Bespoke development
We pride ourselves on the development of unique web solutions which help to differentiate our customers from their competitors as much online as offline. Examples of our work can be found in the Clients area of our website.
Integration
In many cases when developing a website or web solution for our customers, we are asked to integrate our development with existing systems. Examples of this might include:
- 3rd party technologies such as the site-to-consumer authentication systems offered by our partner RSA Consumer
- Linkage to existing databases, such as stock levels from an accounting package
- Linkage of Lightstone technologies to predefined design templates
Dependant on the type of integration required, both our Project Managers, and Technical Project Managers can liaise closely with the 3rd party teams involved - both to facilitate integration and to communicate progress. See Project Management for more information.
