The Customer

Applied Energy's marketing team are responsible for ensuring the product knowledge of their distribution network.

The Need

eCPD stands for "electronic Continuing Professional Development" and is something that the team at Applied Energy were keen to offer to their distribution network. Lightstone was asked to produce a series of modules to train in the following subject areas:

• Decent Homes Standard - An Introduction
• Decent Homes Standard - Fitness for Habitation & Disrepair
• Decent Homes Standard - Modernity & Thermal Comfort
• Building Regulations - Part L
• Building Regulations - Part F
• Ventilation for Decent Homes

The Solution

Lightstone produced a series of Flash-based training modules which provides the student with the course material they need to learn.  A set of navigation tools allow the student to absorb the material at their own pace.

In addition to the learning modules, Lightstone created an assessment system which, upon successful completion of a module, allows the student to download an achievement certificate.
